Next week, we're rolling out the biggest update to the Roast website and app since we launched online ordering. We're not ready to show everything yet — but we wanted to give you a preview of what's coming and why we built it.
Why Now?
We hear from customers all the time about what they wish the app did. A way to save their go-to order. A reason to share Roast with friends. A smarter way to shop for beans. Honest reviews from real customers. Faster checkout.
We took that feedback seriously. The team has spent weeks working through every part of the experience — from the moment you land on the website to the moment you pick up your order — and identified the things that could be better. Then we built them.
A Glimpse at What's Coming
We're keeping the full details for the official launch post next week, but here's a taste:
- Search. Find any coffee, menu item, or brewing guide instantly — right from the top of every page.
- Favorites. Save the beans and drinks you love. No more scrolling to find your usual.
- Product reviews. Real ratings from real Roast customers on every bean we sell. No more guessing whether the Ethiopia is going to be your thing.
- Origin stories on every product page. The farm, the region, the processing method — pulled right into the product page where you're already deciding.
- Smarter subscription sizing. A quick tool that recommends the right delivery frequency based on how much you actually drink. No more accumulation.
- Share your order. When your order is ready, you'll be able to share it with one tap. Because good coffee deserves a mention.
- A referral program. Give a friend a discount on their first order. Get points for it. Details coming soon.
- And a few more things we're still finishing up.
When?
The web update goes live next week. The iOS app update follows shortly after — we're going through final testing now.
