1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, place an order, or interact with our services, we may collect the following information:

  • Account information: Name, email address, phone number, and authentication credentials.
  • Order information: Items ordered, delivery addresses, payment transaction IDs (we do not store full card numbers).
  • Loyalty data: Points earned, rewards redeemed, and tier status.
  • Group orders: Group and participant display names, item selections, readiness status, and invitation/session identifiers. Guests can contribute through an invitation without creating an account.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system, and push notification tokens (if you opt in).

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders.
  • Manage your account and loyalty rewards.
  • Send order confirmations, updates, and (with your consent) promotional communications.
  • Improve our products, services, and customer experience.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

For group orders, the organizer can see each participant's name, choices, and readiness so they can review and pay for one shared order. Roast receives participant names with the ordered items, including in Square, to package the pickup by person. Other guests see aggregate progress rather than your individual contribution. Optional readiness notifications require the organizer to opt in. Joining a group does not subscribe you to marketing messages.

Group working records are normally removed after seven days. Completed order receipts remain in order history, and records with an unresolved payment are retained for reconciliation. Invitation links grant access to join a group, so share them only with intended participants.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate our business:

  • Square: Payment processing and point-of-sale. Your payment information is handled securely by Square in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
  • Firebase (Google): Authentication and data storage.
  • Klaviyo: Email marketing communications (you can unsubscribe at any time).

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. Payment processing is handled entirely by Square — we never store credit card numbers or sensitive payment details on our servers.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time by unsubscribing.

6. Cookies & Analytics
