The Story
Kenya’s AA grade represents the largest, most premium screen size — beans sorted for density, uniformity, and quality. Grown on volcanic soil around Mount Kenya at 1,700–2,000 meters, these beans undergo double fermentation during washing, which develops their signature intense, wine-like complexity. Expect bold blackcurrant, grapefruit acidity, and a tomato-like savoriness. Full-bodied and complex — best as pour-over or French press.
