New Arrival: Costa Rica Tarrazú — Our Brightest Light Roast Yet

We've been waiting for this one. After months of sourcing and sample roasting, we're proud to introduce Costa Rica Tarrazú — a stunning light roast from one of the world's most celebrated coffee-growing regions.

Why Tarrazú?

The Tarrazú valley in Costa Rica's Central Highlands sits at 1,200–1,700 meters above sea level, where volcanic soil, cool mountain air, and consistent rainfall create the perfect conditions for growing exceptional coffee. Farms in this region are known for meticulous processing and a commitment to quality that you can taste in every cup.

What You'll Taste

This is a light roast — roasted just past first crack to preserve the bean's natural character. Expect:

  • Honey sweetness — a clean, lingering sweetness that develops as the cup cools
  • Tangerine brightness — sparkling citrus acidity that's lively without being sharp
  • Milk chocolate finish — a smooth, rounded body that ties everything together

If you typically drink medium or dark roasts, this is a great gateway into lighter coffees. The Tarrazú's natural sweetness and smooth body make it approachable without sacrificing complexity.

How to Brew It

Light roasts shine with pour-over methods — a Chemex or V60 will let the delicate flavors sing. For a forgiving ratio, try 1:16 (1g coffee to 16g water) with water just off the boil at 205°F. If you prefer something fuller-bodied, a French press works beautifully too.
